Festive sale buying
Buying PC parts in the festive sales? Check these details before checkout
Prepare for India's festive sales with an exact-model PC-parts checklist: compare the final payable total, confirm the seller and warranty, and keep a record of what you ordered.

Before the festive-sale tabs multiply, write down the part you actually want and the most you are willing to pay for it. That short note makes it easier to judge an offer without changing the build every time a banner catches your eye.
Amazon India announced 8 October 2026 as the start of its Great Indian Festival for all customers. That gives PC buyers a timely reason to prepare a shortlist; it does not establish that a particular component will be discounted or reach a historical low. Amazon India’s festival announcement
This checklist works for a marketplace listing or a specialist PC retailer. It contains no current-price, stock or seller-quality claim.
1. Give each part an exact identity
Copy the full manufacturer model or part number into your shortlist. A family name is often too broad to compare two shopping tabs safely.
| Part | Details to match between listings |
|---|---|
| Graphics card | GPU model, memory capacity, partner model and model code |
| Memory | DDR generation, total capacity, number of modules, speed and exact kit code |
| SSD | Exact series and part number, capacity, interface and whether the listing includes a heatsink |
| Motherboard | Full model, socket, DDR support, wireless variant and revision where specified |
| Processor | Full model and whether the item is boxed, tray or part of a bundle |
| Power supply | Exact series/model, rated wattage and the cables included with that model |
| Monitor | Full model suffix, resolution, size and the refresh rate supported through the input you will use |
If the title, selected variant and specification table disagree, hold the purchase until the retailer clarifies them. Keep that uncertainty visible in your notes. A product photograph is not enough to settle a conflicting part number.
2. Record what you will pay today
Take the comparison through to the last checkout screen you can inspect without placing the order. Use the same delivery location and the same payment method for each candidate.
Your comparison should include the item amount, delivery charge, any other mandatory charge and the discount that actually applies to your order. Keep a later cashback or exchange valuation in a separate column until its eligibility and timing are clear. If the order uses EMI, read the payment terms and total payable before choosing it.
A simple worksheet is enough:
| Field | What to record |
|---|---|
| Exact part | Manufacturer model/MPN and selected variant |
| Seller | Business selling and invoicing the item |
| Fulfilment | Who dispatches the order, if stated |
| Checked at | Date and time of your checkout check |
| Payable today | Final amount shown for your payment method and postcode |
| Conditional benefit | Coupon, bank offer, cashback or exchange, with relevant conditions |
| Delivery | Expected date and charges shown |
| Support | Invoice, warranty and return/replacement details |
Do not subtract the same benefit twice. If an offer needs a different card or additional purchase, compare that choice on its own terms instead of treating it as an automatic saving.
3. Check the seller, invoice and support route
Confirm the seller’s identity on the actual order. Then read the product-specific return or replacement terms and ask who handles a warranty claim. A general storefront banner may not answer those questions for the item in your cart.
If you need a business invoice, check what invoice the seller will supply and whether the required details can be entered before paying. Save any written confirmation. Do not assume a warranty duration, regional eligibility or invoice format that the retailer has not established.
Also confirm whether the product is new, open-box, refurbished or used. Those descriptions should be part of the comparison, even when the headline model appears identical.
4. Check the purchase against the whole build
Open the manufacturer’s documentation for the exact products in your list. Confirm CPU support and any required BIOS update, the motherboard’s memory generation, storage interfaces, case clearance, cooling and the power connectors your chosen card needs.
If a measurement or support detail is missing, leave it as an unresolved check. A sale deadline does not turn missing evidence into compatibility. A required cooler, cable or case change also belongs in the complete budget.
Use the PcPaisa Build Planner to organise your parts list, then confirm the remaining details with the manufacturers and sellers.
5. Save a compact purchase record
Keep the product URL, selected variant, seller, final order total, dated checkout screenshot and the relevant support terms. After delivery, compare the box label and model code with your order before installing the part. Retain the invoice and follow the seller’s stated reporting window if something differs.
