At ₹80k the AM5 platform finally makes sense — DDR5, PCIe 5, and a CPU that’ll still be current in four years. This is the budget where you stop making compromises.
The build
| Part | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|

| Motherboard | MSI B650M PRO-A | Cheapest B650 with good VRM + DDR5 + PCIe 4 M.2 |
| RAM | 2×16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 | 32GB is the new 16GB in 2026 |
| GPU | RTX 4060 8GB | Solid 1440p, DLSS 3.5, better driver support than Radeon |
| SSD | 1TB NVMe Gen4 | Samsung 980 Pro / WD Black SN770 |
| PSU | 650W 80+ Gold | Corsair RM650x or MSI MAG A650GL |
| Case | Lian Li Lancool 216 | Mesh front, pre-installed 160mm fans |
| Cooler | Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE | ~₹3.5k, beats stock Hyper 212 by 10°C |

Why not RTX 4060 Ti?
8GB 4060 Ti is the same VRAM for ₹10k more. 16GB variant blows the budget and the extra VRAM only shows up at 1440p ultra with ray-tracing — which the chip can’t sustain anyway.
Why not AM4?
AM4 is EOL. 5600 + B550 saves you ₹5k today but you’ll rebuild the whole platform in 2-3 years. AM5 gets you through Zen 5 and Zen 6.
